There are no rule changes for the 2013–14 indoor season. Please see the recent changes below from the previous season.

Rules changes for 2012–13 indoor season

1.     Under 6 and Under 8 divisions will now have smaller goals (5ft x 10ft)
2.     Penalty mark is now at the basketball free-throw line – U7 to U17
3.  The speakers and scoreboards along the gymnsium walls are out of play – U7 to U17
4.     Substitutions are every 5 minutes – ALL DIVISIONS
5.    A goalkeeper cannot throw or kick the ball from his/her hands directly into the opposing team’s penalty area – U7 to U17
6.  A team with too many players on the field, can be penalized by an indirect free kick, and a two-minute time penalty  – U7 to U17

RULE 4: The players’ equipment

4.1. No player shall wear anything that is dangerous to himself/herself or another player.
4.2. Basic compulsory equipment shall consist of shorts, socks, shin guards, footwear, and a numbered shirt.
4.3. Each player must wear the shin guards under his/her socks.
4.4. Goalkeepers must wear colours which are distinguishable from all other players, the referee, and when possible the opposing goalkeeper.
4.5. A player wearing a cast, or a protective device such as a leg/arm brace made of metal or hard plastic will NOT be allowed to play, unless written approval is received from the Club Head Referee or his designated official.
4.6 Jewelry is NOT allowed, and cannot be taped.
4.7. A player who is asked to leave the field of play because of illegal, defective or dangerous equipment may not re-enter the field of play until the referee is satisfied that the equipment is permissible.
